Rising Talent Tabbed to Pilot TRICON’s No. 11 Safelite Entry in 2026
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (December 5, 2025) – TRICON Garage announced today that Kaden Honeycutt has inked a deal to drive full-time for the organization in 2026, debuting with the No. 11 Safelite Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) season. Honeycutt has also signed with Toyota and will be an official member of the 2026 Toyota Driver Development (TD2) lineup.
Coming off a breakthrough 2025 campaign, Honeycutt impressed by clinching a berth in the Championship 4 at Phoenix Raceway, delivering four top-five and 14 top-ten finishes across three organizations. Highlighted by a career-best runner-up at Martinsville, Honeycutt was a consistent contender for wins, ultimately finishing a formidable third in the 2025 NCTS Drivers Championship standings.
“We are pleased to officially welcome Kaden into the Team Toyota family alongside our partners at TRICON Garage,” said Trent Rodriguez, manager, Driver Development, TRD U.S.A. “Kaden showed incredible poise overcoming many challenges throughout the 2025 season and showcased his talent by racing his way into the Championship 4. We are confident in his abilities behind the wheel and are thrilled to be able to give him an opportunity to compete full-time in a TRICON Tundra next season.”
In addition to his growing NASCAR résumé, the 22-year-old is a multi-time CARS Tour winner with substantial grassroots success, including a crown jewel Super Late Model victory at the 2024 Snowball Derby and a CARS Tour Pro Late Model Championship. Honeycutt has also made select starts in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS) platform, securing two AMS West victories in 2023.
“I’ve waited my entire career for an opportunity like this. I can’t thank Toyota and TRICON enough for trusting me to carry the torch for the No. 11 Safelite Tundra and continue its incredible run of success,” said Honeycutt. “I’m truly honored and fired up to chase a championship with this team in 2026.”
The Aledo, TX native is set to join forces with veteran crew chief Scott Zipadelli, who earned his second career NCTS Championship in 2025 alongside driver Corey Heim. Since joining TRICON in 2023, the duo has amassed 21 wins, 45 top-fives and three Championship 4 appearances together. Zipadelli, a 36-time winner in the NCTS, now ranks second all-time among crew chiefs in series victories.
“This is an exciting transition for TRICON. We’ve watched Kaden perform and overcome uncertainty, and we admire the grit it’s taken to reach this point. We have no doubt he’s worthy of this opportunity and look forward to him continuing to put TRICON and our No. 11 team in a position to win races and contend for championships,” said Kevin Ray, partner and general manager, TRICON.
Further announcements on TRICON’s 2026 driver and crew chief lineups will come at a later date.
